Refund Policy

Wholesale liquidation merchandise is sold as-is and is not returnable. This page explains the narrow circumstances where a refund or credit may be issued, how refunds are processed, and why the 72-hour inspection window is your only post-delivery remedy.

Bottom lineNo returns. Refunds only when we cancel, or for documented transit damage/shortage inside 72 hours.

The short version

Liquidation pallets are final sale. We do not accept returns for any reason—wrong grade, fewer saleable units than expected, cosmetic condition, changed mind, over-ordered. The only post-delivery path to a refund or credit is a documented freight damage or pallet-count shortage claim filed within 72 hours of delivery. If we cancel your order, you get a full refund. Once a load ships, freight is non-refundable.

2. When a refund is issued

2.1 We cancel your order

If we cancel for any reason—stock unavailable, load problem, payment failure, or our own error—any payment taken is refunded in full to the original method of payment. This is the only situation in which we refund money for goods you have not received.

2.2 You cancel before the order ships

You may cancel or amend an order by emailing sales@palletliquidationking.com before the order is marked Shipped. If payment has cleared, it is refunded in full. Once a load is on a truck we cannot cancel, recover or return it.

2.3 Documented transit damage or shortage (72-hour window)

Where visible freight damage is noted on the delivery receipt at the tailgate, or where concealed damage or a genuine pallet-count shortage is reported within 72 hours of delivery with the required evidence, we will file the claim with the carrier on your behalf. If the carrier approves, settlement runs between the carrier and your business.

If the carrier denies a claim we agree with, we may at our discretion issue a partial credit or refund against the affected pallet. That is the full extent of our remedy for damage or shortage. Our decision on claims under this window is final and binding.

3. When a refund is not issued

We do not issue refunds, credits, or partial settlements for any of the following:

  • The pallet contains fewer saleable units than you expected
  • Brands, sizes, or categories differ from what you hoped for
  • A unit does not power on, hold a charge, or is otherwise not to your liking
  • Condition falls short of your own resale standards
  • You ordered the wrong grade, category, or quantity
  • You over-ordered
  • Cosmetic differences you did not report within 72 hours
  • "This isn't what I expected" or general dissatisfaction

All goods are sold "as is" and "with all faults". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all express, implied, statutory and oral warranties, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, satisfactory quality, title, non-infringement, or accuracy of the manifest, listing photographs, descriptions, weights or carton counts. See Terms §9 No warranty.

4. The 72-hour inspection window

Every load is covered by a 72-hour inspection window running from delivery. This is the single post-delivery remedy we offer, and it is time-limited and evidence-based.

4.1 At the tailgate: before you sign

Freight law requires you to inspect the delivery before accepting it:

  • Count the pallets against the manifest.
  • Check for visible damage: crushed corners, punctures, broken banding, missing or torn stretch wrap, water staining, shifted or leaning stacks.
  • Note any damage, shortage or exception on the delivery receipt / bill of lading before signing.
  • Photograph damage.
  • If you sign "clear" and discover damage afterwards, the carrier will almost certainly deny the claim, and so will we.
  • You have the right to refuse visibly damaged freight. If you do, photograph everything, note the refusal on the delivery receipt, and tell us immediately. We will pursue the claim with the carrier.

4.2 Within 72 hours of delivery: concealed damage and shortage

Concealed damage (damage that could not reasonably be seen at the tailgate) or a genuine pallet-count shortage must be reported to us within 72 hours of delivery. Your report must include:

  • Your order number (e.g., PLK-7F906A4A-261001)
  • Photographs of the pallet, the damage and the shipping label
  • A clear description of what is wrong and how many units or pallets are affected
  • Confirmation that you counted and inventoried the load
  • A copy or photo of the annotated delivery receipt, if applicable

Reports received after 72 hours cannot be validated against the carrier's documentation and cannot be supported. We cannot accept them.

5. Damage & shortage claims process

  1. You report it: Email sales@palletliquidationking.com with all required evidence (order number, photos, description, confirmation of count, annotated BOL).
  2. We acknowledge: We confirm receipt and the claim window.
  3. We file with the carrier: We submit the claim to the freight carrier on your behalf and keep you copied.
  4. Carrier settles: Carriers inspect freight at delivery, so claims are settled from photographs and the BOL you annotated. If approved, settlement is between the carrier and your business.
  5. Our discretionary step: If the carrier denies but we agree with you, we may issue a partial credit or refund against the affected pallet. This is the full extent of our remedy.

What we cannot accept

Reports submitted after 72 hours of delivery · damage discovered after signing a clean delivery receipt with no annotation · shortages we cannot verify against the manifest · cosmetic condition of the goods themselves · over-orders, under-orders and "this isn't what I expected".

6. How refunds are paid

  • Refunds are issued to the original method of payment. Bank wires return by wire; crypto returns are sent to the wallet address you provide in writing; Zelle, Apple Pay, Chime and Cash App refunds are sent back through the same service and may take several business days to appear.
  • We cannot refund to a different account, wallet or recipient than the payer, and we will ask for proof of payment where a method has no transaction history.
  • Refund processing begins within 5 business days of approval. Your bank or payment provider may take a further 3–10 business days to post it.

7. Timelines

EventTimeline
Cancel before Shipped (your request)Processed within 5 business days
We cancel your orderProcessed within 5 business days
Damage/shortage claim approved by carrierCarrier's timeline; we pass through promptly
Discretionary partial credit (carrier denied, we agree)Processed within 5 business days of our decision
Bank/wire posting3–10 business days after we release
P2P app posting (Zelle, Cash App, etc.)Varies by provider, typically 1–5 business days

8. Freight charges

Freight charges already incurred are non-refundable once a load has shipped. This applies regardless of the reason for any subsequent refund or credit on the merchandise. The carrier has performed the service (pickup, line-haul, delivery attempt) and their charges are earned at that point.

If a shipment is refused at delivery, returned to us, or never delivered due to an address error on your part, the order may be cancelled but the freight cost is not refunded. If the failure was our error (wrong address shipped to, load never picked up), we will refund freight as part of the full order refund.

9. Payment reversals & chargebacks

Peer-to-peer payment methods such as Zelle, Apple Pay, Chime and Cash App can be reversed by the sender after goods have shipped, and a bank wire can be recalled. You accept that risk. If a payment is reversed, charged back or dishonoured:

  • We may cancel future orders and require payment in advance by bank wire or crypto.
  • We may pursue recovery of the goods or their value, plus reasonable collection costs.
  • We may report the account to the relevant payment provider.

A chargeback or reversal is not a refund request and does not trigger our refund policy. It is treated as a payment default.

10. Local pickup orders

Buyers collecting from our Sacramento warehouse follow the same rules. Your 72-hour inspection window starts at collection. Inspect the load and count the pallets with us present before you leave. Once the load leaves our dock, the sale is final subject only to the 72-hour window for concealed damage or shortage discovered after you depart.

Uncollected loads after 7 days may be returned to saleable stock and the order marked delivered. Contact us if you need longer.
